Get in touch A dash

An anniversary full of insights, encounters and hands-on surface technology.

50 Years of Kaiser GmbH Oberflächentechnik – we celebrated this special anniversary with an open day. Numerous visitors took the opportunity to get to know our company in the Jägergrund industrial estate in Schameder up close and to take a look behind the scenes of modern surface technology.

The focus was on our company tours, during which guests gained a direct impression of how diverse, precise, and demanding our work is. From logistics and the various manufacturing processes to quality control, laboratories, and packaging, it became clear how many individual steps are necessary for workpieces to be reliably protected, refined, and prepared for their use. What became particularly evident was that surface technology is precision work. Often, it involves layer thicknesses and tolerances in the micrometer range – that is, accuracy that is hardly visible in everyday life but can be crucial for the quality and lifespan of a component.

The history of our company also played an important role on this day. Since its founding in 1976, Kaiser has evolved from a regionally rooted family business into a modern specialist in surface finishing. The past decades have been marked by growth, technical advancements, new facilities, investments in quality and environmental management – but also by challenges such as the major fire in 2013. That Kaiser is successfully positioned today is thanks to the dedication of many people who have accompanied, supported, and helped shape the company over all these years.

The open day therefore offered not only hands-on technology but also many personal encounters. Employees explained work processes, answered questions and showed how much expertise, care and teamwork goes into our processes. There was also plenty for children and young people to discover: information on our apprenticeships, interactive activities and a look into the world of work of tomorrow made the day exciting for young guests too.

We are delighted by the great response and interest in our company. The anniversary day showed how closely Kaiser is connected to the region – with our employees, their families, our customers, partners, neighbours, and many other people who have accompanied us on our journey.

50 years of Kaiser represent trust, precision, constancy and innovative strength. At the same time, this anniversary is not an end for us, but an incentive: we want to continue to offer high-quality surface technology in the future, take responsibility and write the next chapters of our company history together with our team.

A heartfelt thank you to all visitors and everyone involved who made this day possible.
